7:30 p.m. Staged Reading of “DRIFT” by Mazlum Nergiz
With Pía Laborde-Noguez | Director: Juan Miranda
Why do people go out to have sex – everywhere, not just in their beds? In “DRIFT”, the characters wander through parks, bars, cemeteries and abandoned factory floors like flotsam. Their bodies are constantly in motion – but perhaps also constantly in flight – and connect with the body of the city. Afloat with inner restlessness and the search for intimate connection with anonymous people, they wash ashore in places that promise liberation. But the echoes of shame and violence invade even the most utopian of spaces.
8.30 pm Concert with Mandhla
